Our Team

Steff Wick

Owner & Stylist

Steff (she/her) is a Montreal-based hairstylist with a passion for precision cutting, transformative colour, and helping people feel at home in her chair. With a Taurus sun and moon, she’s all about cozy vibes, calm energy, and intentional beauty—whether that means embracing bold new looks or enhancing what’s naturally there.

After spending seven years in Ottawa developing her craft, Steff returned to her hometown of Montreal and opened StudioWick in 2023. She’s all about creating a safe, inclusive space where real connection and self-expression can thrive.

Outside the salon, you’ll usually find her gaming, knitting, colouring, or hanging with her two one-eyed cats.

Ashika Malla

Scalp Therapist

Ash (she/her) is an ambitious and passionate individual with over two years of hands-on experience in scalp treatments. Born and raised in Montréal, Ashika has come to deeply value the importance of self-care in her everyday life. Whether she’s hiking up Mont Royal or strolling along the canal with her husband, being outdoors is her favourite way to unwind and reconnect with herself. Self-care and relaxation is a necessary step in everyone’s overall well being, which is why Ash is so excited to be collaborating with Steff to introduce a new service to Studio Wick: A Soft Escape!

She created this as more than just a service; it’s a space for relaxation, restoration, and redefining what self-care can feel like. Her mission is simple: to create an inclusive, welcoming environment where everyone feels seen, valued, and pampered.

Ashika wholeheartedly believes that beauty should not just look good, but feel good, and is looking forward to sharing this journey with you! With her expertise and your trust in her, your scalp — and your soul — will thank you.

Chelsea Wawa

Social Media Manager

Chelsea has a passion for showcasing women-owned, impact-driven businesses like StudioWick and believes in celebrating the beauty behind the scenes. Got a fun trend idea? She’s already got the camera ready.
